"Mom, I put on my armor" was the second thing my son said to me yesterday morning. The first was, "I'm digging for gold," as he poked his nose.
I said, "What armor?"
He replied, "The armor of God!"
It's been just a few weeks since he and his daddy joined Trail Life. It's already making a huge impact on his life, in my husband's life, in their relationship, but most importantly on their relationship with God.
I'm so thankful I listened to the Holy Spirit that urged me to urge my husband to do this with our son. I want our son to be a strong, Godly man. That requires training, but it also requires being surrounded by a like-minded community so he can see it modeled by various men.
Here this sweet boy has already learned to put on the armor of God first thing in the morning. I'm so thankful for that!
